World Cup: Did Robbie Williams Flash ‘The Middle Finger’ On Purpose?

Robbie Williams

English singer, song writer and actor Robbie Peter Williams flashed ‘the middle finger’ yesterday, during his live performance at the world cup opening ceremony while singing his 2000 track Rock DJ.

Robbie altered the lyrics of the song, by adding the line “But I did this for free” before making the provocative gesture with his finger. The gesture was seen by millions of viewers around the world.

United State Broadcaster FOX has apologized for the incident which they aired. The singer himself, however, has not made any comment concerning the incident.

Did Robbie Williams get carried away and put up his “middle finger” while performing at the World Cup opening ceremony yesterday? Maybe, or maybe not. Anyways, what are your thoughts on this?
