Babatunde Olusegun Adewale is a Nigerian superstar rapper/lyricist, popularly known by his stage name – Modenine is our focus on this week’s episode of TuneBackThursday.

The London born Nigerian rapper started music is 1999 and is still active till date. Although, he gave music a break for a short while, Modenine recently drop an amazing album of 8 songs.

Modenine – Nigerian Girls

This song was released in 2001 and people still stream it till date. The song talks about Nigerian girls from different states and what they like when it concerns men and he says “no matter where you are from, no matter who you are, you have to like Nigerian girls”.

Modenine Ft Nnenna – Cry

Released in 2007, this song won 3 Channel O “Spirit of Africa” Awards. Being really emotional and realistic, it just never fades away.

Modenine – Badman

Released in 2009, I just discovered that until now, Badman is one of Modenine songs Nigerians can’t seem to get the last off. The streams keep getting higher.
