If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that good Nigerian music is the sweetest music in the world (note that I said “good”). And although the industry is dominated by Afrobeats (and it’s different variations), rap, and Fuji, there are/were some RnB songs that always find/found their way to number 1 on all charts, playlists, and our personal favs because of how awesome they are.
So to celebrate RnB genre in Nigeria, below are the top 3 best ever Nigerian RnB songs by male musicians (in no particular order, because they are just too awesome). Songs that are still the template and standard for what it takes to make a great Rhythm and Blues song in the country.
Wande Coal – Ololufe
Darey Art Alade – Not The Girl
Banky W – Strong Thing
