NOT TO BE BROADCAST
Malaysian based Nigerian moneybag Hushpuppi may have struck a few nerves in the music industry after he called out Phyno and Ice Prince for wearing the fake version of a wristwatch brand. He addressed them in a Snapchat message, telling them not to patronize pirated copies of other people’s work if they do not want people to pirate their own works.
Now this is not the first time Hushpuppi is attacking celebrities as he had social media run ins with the likes of Shan George, Davido and many more. His diss has since caused a ripple of reactions from Phyno and Ice Prince, as well as other celebrities who seem to have had enough of him.
Phyno replied Hushpuppi by listing a few achievements that he didn’t make a fuss of on social media and added that he will and die for his people unlike Hushpuppi who only idolizes Gucci.
Ice Prince’s message simply stated that Big Dogs don’t bark and he wasn’t sure what a puppy was loud for.
Kcee on the other hand who many believe is still bitter from Hushpuppi’s shade during the stolen money saga, took to his Instagram to pen a lengthy message where he gave a piece of his mind and also tagged the EFCC to look into Hushpuppi’s wealth to verify the source.
Other celebrities like IK Ogbonna and Phyno’s protégée Zoro have also given their 2 cents on the issue with Zoro even going as far as threatening Hushpuppi never to set his feet into the south-eastern part of Nigeria.
Hushpuppi seems quite unapologetic for his message as he dropped subsequent messages, mocking Phyno for sucking up to him when the rapper was in Malaysia for a show and asking “Amadioha” to fall on his head.
Social media onlookers in their different posts, believe Hushpuppi is simply a yahoo yahoo boy seeking for attention by all means and approve of Kcee’s call for the EFCC to probe him.
So should the EFCC look into this or should Hushpuppi just be ignored?
