Naira Marley Escorted To High Court In Ikoyi , Pleads Not Guilty

Nigerian Artiste Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley who was arrested  and detained on the 10th of May 2019 as a result of a found connection with internet fraud (popularly known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo’) has been released and taken to the Federal High court in Ikoyi, Lagos for prosecution proceedings filed against him by the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC).

While appearing at the court premises, Fashola who was already frustrated from all of the allegations sighted his mum crying and that made him more subdued according to his reaction.

Azeez Fashola pleaded not guilty after the charges had been read to him in the presence of Justice Nicholas Oweibo who also slated the 30th of May for the hearing of the bail application.

The charges against Naira Marley or Azeez Fashola has made many to connect his Songs to the defense of Internet fraudsters and How he went as far as saying Yahoo Yahoo or cybercrime is not a crime.

He went as far as saying how he’s been arrested 124 times in England and that still wouldn’t stop him from singing street songs after this arrest.

The singer also having been backed by Popular rich kid and singer Davido including other Artistes in the music industry has an advantage to surpass this phase in his career.
