My London Experience: Emeka Smith Cracks A Thousand Ribs

If you were not at Emeka Smith’s live comedy show on Sunday, the 20th of May, which took place at Shell Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos, then you weren’t anywhere at all. The show was sponsored by Minimie chin chin, Basalt,, Silverbird, Hip TV, KingsWatt, FIRS, De Rigg Place among others.

Emeka Smith’s show was a success. I must say there’s definitely no regret whatsoever for those  who purchased the tickets. Whoever wasn’t cracked up must have serious financial issues.

Comedians like Ay, Koffi, Alibaba, Seyi Law, Kenny Blaq, Senator, Akpororo, Dan D Humourous, Okey Bakassi, Senator, Ajebo and many others graced the show with their presence. They did successfully crack a lot of ribs without having to put so much effort in racking their brains. It was a harvest of laughter. Emeka was able to relate to his audience his experience in London, while drawing comparisons to the average Nigerian experience.

With regular tickets costing N5,000, VIP tickets costing N20,000 and the table for 10 costing N500,000, Shell hall was filled with people who sought to support and enjoy the show; and trust me, they did.

There were also musical performances from a number of artists, a lot of goodwill in the house and hundreds of relieved tension. For his first live comedy show, Emeka is undoubtedly heading towards greater heights. A number of people are patiently anticipating more from this natural comedian, who helped to save and revive as many lives as he could with his talent.
