Chelsea FC Crowned Champions of the Premier League

Chelsea FC have been crowned Kings of England and the Premier League for the sixth time, after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over West Brom at the Hawthorns.

Antonio Conte’s total reinvention of the team after a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates paid off with the Blues becoming the team to beat in the Premier League and going all the way to win the trophy with 2 games to go.

The success of Chelsea this season has been unprecedented and a total victory, with Chelsea winning the EPL and Kante winning the PFA Player of the Year award.

Tottenham Hotspurs, who have been one of the best teams and more dominating teams in the Premier League defeated Manchester United to secure their Champions League spot in second place. A welcome position after losing out to rivals Arsenal on the final day of the 2015/16 season.

Liverpool’s 4-0 victory has almost put them in the prime position to secure a Champions League spot, provided they win their final match of the season when they host Middlesbrough.

Manchester City’s Champions League hopes are very much alive, and they can possibly upstage Liverpool in third position if they win their final two matches of the season. While rivals Manchester United’s UCL hopes depends on them winning the Europa League.

Arsenal’s Europa League spot is sure, but their Champions League hopes depends victories in their last two games and on Liverpool drawing or losing their final match of the season.

In the other half of the table, the relegated teams are Hull City, Middlesbrough, and David Moyes’ Sunderland – who will all return to the second-tier Championship League.
