Ariana Grande will not be performing at the 2019 Grammy Awards anymore, which also means that she won’t be in attendance.
The 26-year-old singer decided to drop out of the awards show after she had a disagreement with the producers, according to Variety.
Variety spoke to a source, that revealed Ariana felt “insulted” after producers refused to let her perform “7 Rings” during the show. Ariana and the producers apparently reached a compromise where “7 Rings” would be part of a medley, before Ariana pulled out after producers insisted that the second song would be one that they chose.
Ariana is nominated for two Grammys – Best Pop Solo Performance for her song “God is a Woman” and Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener.
The Grammys will air on CBS this Sunday (February 10) and Alicia Keys is set as the host.
