The new Nike kit for the Super Eagles which is scheduled to arrive in 2020 will feature Sup r Eagles stars, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi at the previewing of the design.
Nike officials confirmed this to the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) stating The two players who also featured in Nike’s official unveiling of the 2018 Russia World Cup kit, will give Nike player options and suggestions.
You will recall that Kelechi Iheanacho joined Iwobi and Ndidi in launching the Super Eagles’ World Cup kit last year. With a little help from Wizkid and others, they helped show that the kit embodies the “audacious, fast, fun and stylish” spirit of Nigeria.
As anticipation for the new kit builds, fans are expecting a design that’s nothing short of mind-blowing. So, it’s expected that Iwobi and Ndidi will draw from the reaction they got as faces of the World Cup kit to contribute to another stellar design.
Daily Cannon reports that the preview of the new kit will take place at a ceremony in London. Once that is done, Nike can then release it to the public for sale in July 2020.
