Comedy Movies: 5 Hilarious Parody/Spoof Movies You Need To Watch

The rainy season has come again, and along with it is the very popular statement, “weather for two”. It’s the perfect season for cuddling in bed with bae (or alone like me) to watch a movie or “Ndani/Iroko TV/Netflix and chill”.

In light of this, to enjoy the warmth your bed or cuddling bae gives you while enjoying good laughs and precious moments, here are 5 hilarious parody/spoof movies you should watch this season. Notable mentions before the list are “Scary Movie series”, “Date Movie”, and “Repossessed.”

P.S – Do you know that in British slang language, “Spoof” means man ejaculation. Lol! That takes the weather for two to a whole new level, doesn’t it?

Meet The Spartans

Meet the Spartans is the parody movie of one of the best war movies of all time, “300”. This movie has everything you’d expect… and not expect in a comedy/action movie. I’m already laughing just thinking about it.

Robin Hood: Men in Tights

A hilarious movie which is a parody of Kevin Costner’s Robinhood. Trust me when I say that you will be laughing your ass off, and will forget all about the cold weather by the time you are done with this movie.

Super Hero Movie

Imagine Spider-Man got bitten by a bug instead and became Bugman! That’s the main premise of this parody movie. The movie details how things would’ve gone for Tobey Maguire’s Spiderman and other superheroes and villains in a comedy world if things happened in a comical manner.

Not Another Teen Movie

Not another team movie is a spoof of “She’s All That” and many, many other teen movies. And before you think it wouldn’t be funny, Chris Evans starred in this movie (when he was younger) and the movie had an epic scene from The Breakfast Club also. This is still the best comedy movie about teenagers that I have ever watched.

The Starving Games

As you’ve already guessed, this is the spoof of one of the most successful movie franchises ever, The Hunger Games. I can’t say any more about this movie, just watch the trailer above and thank me later.

Are there any other parody/spoof movies that didn’t make the list, please tell us in the comment section below.
