Cardi B Wins Best Hip-Hop Artiste at iHeartRadio Music Awards

Shortly after winning best rap album at the 2019 Grammy Awards, Cardi B is still staying winning after the Bodak Yellow rapper took home yet another coveted award.

Cardi B has won the Hip Hop Artist of the Year win at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. In a category that included stellar names such as Drake, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, and Travis Scott.

She wasn’t able to make the award show because she said she was “busy doing a couple of things,” but she gave her speech in a pre-recorded video in which she thanked her fans and supporters who have continued to rock with her throughout her budding career.

“And to all my haters, you know I gotta thank my haters, you know what I’m saying,” she said. “Y’all be saying mean things and y’all be thinking those mean things is gonna discourage me, but that just makes me go harder…because if everybody gives compliments, I get comfortable.” She then once again thanked the haters, gave her signature, “Okurrr,” and proceeded to laugh and lick her award. Congrats to Cardi!
