The 2019 Academy Awards (Oscars), will for the first time in thirty years, not have a host following Kevin Hart relieving himself of the duty, according to an ABC spokesperson.
Kevin Hart pulled out from hosting the glamorous event after old homophobic tweets of him resurfaced.
Although Hart eventually apologized, during an episode of Good Morning America, he said he was done talking about it.
“There’s no more conversation about it,” he said. “I’m over that, I’m over the moment.”
The last time the Oscars didn’t have a host was in 1989 when Allan Carr decided to have more presenters instead of a proper host.
The 91st Academy Awards take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on February 24.
